For me, the joy of being an artist is the dialogue that opens between myself and the viewer. It is my hope that the impressionistic images I create spark the imagination while allowing the freedom to rely on one’s own experiences to personalize an interpretation. I work each piece as an individual thought, painting lines and using color to evolve a sense of energy and momentum, building a body of art with diversity and spontaneity captured in my distinct style. My affinity for fiber drives my passion while the various surface design techniques I use deliver the results I seek providing me the opportunity to articulate that which I cannot put into words.
